Our Story
Chisel Works is a story of Passion to Profession.
With the solemn purpose of serving with empathy towards humanity, with an attitude that always places people first before spaces, the Founder, Mr Ashok Kulkarni, founded CiW almost 30 years ago. However, back then it was called Kulkarni Interior Design Studio.
After honing practical expertise in this field for over 30 years as a Civil Engineer, Consulting Architect and Partner in 2 paramount Architecture and Design Firms in the city, he decided to accomplish his long-term vision of entrepreneurship.
In the year 2019, at the age of 55, he founded CiW, along with his son Mr. Ameya Kulkarni (Principal Architect at CiW), with the belief that architecture and design matter, and that through our work, we can make a positive difference in the society.
Today, CiW is an Architecture and Interior Design Studio that aims at creating spaces that inspire and that stand the test of time while meeting the client's specific needs in unique ways.
